HighSpender


Der Begriff HighSpender bezeichnet eine Person oder ein Unternehmen, welche/s eine vergleichsweise hohe Summe - einmalig oder mehrfach - an eine gemeinnützige Organisation o.ä. spendet.

Im Bereich Fundraising ist ein HighSpender natürlich grundsätzlich gern gesehen, birgt aber die Gefahr einer Scheinzahlung. Das heißt, dass die Zahlung möglicherweise mit betrügerischen Absichten oder vielleicht auch einfach nur aus Versehen (ein Komma verrutscht) getätigt wurde. Durch diverse Monitoring-Systeme kann ein HighSpender erkannt werden und - wenn nötig - können die entsprechenden Maßnahmen ergriffen werden.
